It’s occurred to me that I haven’t posted pictures from my adopted home-town in a while. I think sometimes that familiarity means that we stop seeing the beauty in a place, and tune out the things that attracted us to it in the first place.
I hope you enjoy my little series on London.

That is a very beautiful shot Martina.
I agree with you! We can “blind” to the great things that our everyday life offers. I always try to find something unique about my city even though it feels ordinary. Cheers!
Excellent perspective! I like the walkway leading the eye into the image.
inspirational i can learn a lot from visiting here, stunning capture, Martina
I find myself entertained-visually of what I call “Mood Proviso” liking much the division and space plus the lovely touch “Smell of Modernity” – Quite a scene, KUDOS!
Wonderful “street level” capture of the skyline.
Martina, since my days in London long ago I’ve always held a fondness for it and this series I’m sure will be a wonderful representation of “what you see.” I look forward to the rest of the images as you have a wonderful delicate and skilled touch painting pictures with your camera.
The lines, perspective and soft distant tones of this photo are especially nice — it makes me want to walk into it.
elegant persective in plasant soft tonality, i like its lightness
