This was taken at the Sunday Market in Cannobio, Italy. It was a fascinating and vibrant place. If you’re in the area I can highly recommend a visit, take your camera and an empty stomach! 😉

I just love such places, I always wanner taste it all. 🙂
Cool catch of the interesting scene.
A mouth-watering sight! So much to see in one shot – excellent!!
that’s a great scene you’ve captured there, perhaps a colored version in the future with lots of colors would be great as well 🙂
Like the framing very much, particularly adding the clouds into it. Lot of things are happening in this single shot
It’s great the way that you can see several things going on at once.
Nice capture. Nicely composed with lots of details.
This wonderful B&W image brings back fond memories. Years ago, I lived for 18 months in southern Italy near the small village of San Vito del Normanni. On Saturday mornings we’d visit Brindisi with its larger markets — a pleasant period in my life and a fine scene well captured here.
So good in mono, a frame that really encapsulates the hubub of activity and the people in the scene. Youcan almost hear the banter and smell the produce. Really well captured.
Indeed, I love the sense of vibrancy and life in your image. Beautiful work!
fascinating light in this soft b/w
Wonderful framing. I’d love to visit there!
Hi Martina!
I know very well this atmosphere, It’s a typical ‘bancarella di mercato’ (market) where you can find a lot of very good food.
Every morning, when I walk to my work place, I need to take a road that crosses a market like this: every morning I get a coffee in a little open bar in the middle of the market.. every morning I think I should take some photos…
Ciao Martina, great work!!
Very cute!!!!
What a beautifully detailed image. I just love markets as a subject. Will put this one on my travel list, then.
Hmmmm, a beautiful stand with a lot of delicious things.
Typical market-day 🙂
Le noir est blanc est un excellent choix pour cette photo. Les détails sont encore plus appréciés et l’ambiance est renforcée. Magnifique !
Flea Market(s) and market like this one had so much to offer and for one “eye opener to worldly corridors”.. a great way to fly! Looking good in B&W, lovely depiction!
I wanted to return on this image that I did not have time to comment. The atmosphere evokes me splendidly my country of origin.
Marketplaces have such life to them – it’s a different world. This is a great b&w capture of it. Would love to see it in colour, too!
well seen!
great shot, thanks!
