I came across this location quite by accident last week, and it immediately struck me as beautiful and picturesque. It provided me with a number of photo opportunity’s- so I hope you won’t mind if the blog spends some time there this week.
“The meadow is done with the tame.
The place for the moment is ours
For you, oh tumultuous flowers,
To go to waste and go wild in,
All shapes and colors of flowers,
I needn’t call you by name.”
Robert Frost. The Last Mowing
pleasant view of this wonderful panorama, with different green tonality, good work
Beautiful scenery you have here.
wonderful green! i also like the snow caps, excellent sharp image
A beautiful spring landscape. I can see pinkish blooms of trees in the distant far right and the house on the left provides wonderful scale and balance. Martina, you have a wonderful touch balancing tonal qualities and contrast. I love the blue-green overtones of this image and the overall feel. I’ll look forward to more “time” this week at this location.
But you had me at Robert Frost — one of my favorite poets!
Scene like this always provide calm and soothing rejuvenation.. fresh air! Beautifully in framed, very well depicted.
beautiful landscape and a very nice composition
Wonderful shot
Beautiful landscape in interesting tones.
A superbly pictorial composition. An invitation to wholeness and self-questioning. Thank you for sharing : so the place is definitely ours.
A very ‘quiet’ image, a relaxed atmosphere…
Bye!
Fantastic!!!!!
The country, the mountains…..
Simply kind photo…..
Don’t mind at all; this is so serene! Show us more!
Pretty, tranquil landscape shot. Love the clear details, colors and composition.
Makes me yearn for a picnic, great capture Martina!
Beautiful scene and processing. I want to spend some days in Switzerland too 😉
beautiful and soft
A calm and tranquil landscape. Many details for this perfect composition. Treatment on the colors of a very high quality …
My kind of landscape, so tranquil and beautifully captured. The lovely wide 20mm frame really encapsulates the essence of Mother nature’s offerings in this idyllic spot. I’d love to just walk into the scene and sit a while, just my thoughts and I…. OK, and my Nikon! A wonerful frame.
Beautiful landscape, Martina – the scuddy mountainscape really conveys the depth of this space, which I have always thought to be a real challenge in a flat art. Just magnificent!
