Our fascination with the flight of birds–it seems to always draw our imaginations even though we can fly if only with metal wings. To have it be just a natural part of us would be just another part of a dream. The mist over the city adds so much to the dream-like quality of your photo.

I like watching seagulls in flight. How they look like and sound fits so well with water and ship. Therefore the pier is a beautiful symbol of all that.
