I’m continuing the water theme of this week with this picture of a dam in Luzern, Switzerland.

So cool, Full of cleanliness sense. like colors and reflections …
This is a wonderful composition that exudes dynamic and calmness at the same time. Love the thought-provoking da Vinci quote.
Wonderful elements – angle, composition, reflections and the triple pattern of icy green water.
And my thanks to for your recent visit and kind comments…
Martina, why a water theme this week? Any special reason? You would love Canada’s Niagara Falls, I bet … this image kind of reminds me of that, but not as big, of course! 🙂
joliment graphique.
That looks very cold and unknowable.
Gorgeous composition & exposure.
The deep glassy water crashing into its own chaos. The sound of it must have been intense…but the depth and power–beautiful, but ominous. (Seeing that I almost drowned as a teenager, water deeper than a glassful has my utmost respect.) Love the blue-green, too.
Just like Phil said. Just like life. Crashing into its own chaos. One frozen moment that makes me think of Jeff Bridges singing: “Funny how falling feels like flying for a little while”
A mighty fine frame!
All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
Love the color, it’s like liquid glass.
Wonderful contrasting textures here, Martina!
La couleur blue est terriblement belle. Elle exerce ici une forme d’attirance particulière… un petit peu comme les glaciers des pôles. Une couleur qui évoque la pureté. Superbe.
Very creative shot, I love the overall tonality and clarity in this frame.
