“It is not growing like a tree
In bulk doth make Man better be;
Or standing long an oak, three hundred year,
To fall a log at last, dry, bald, and sere:
A lily of a day
Is fairer far in May,
Although it fall and die that night –
It was the plant and flower of light.
In small proportions we just beauties see;
And in short measures life may perfect be.”
Benjamin Jonson. It is not growing like a tree

Very nice shot indeed – like the different elements of that
love the drop of water on its leaf
What absolutely lovely colors. Great sharpness and detail as well. Very good.
The bead of water is the finishing touch to a gorgeous frame that bursts with natural life and vibrancy. Perfect composition and tones so dark and sultry as to add a romance to the scene. Awesome depth of focus here too. A gem.
lovely photo i appreciate frame and colors, also in details is really pleasant
Very, very nice – I feel peaceful looking at this shot.
Die Farben, der Wassertropfen auf dem Blatt. Toll.
Excellent floral photography!
Beautiful photo. Very nice composition and colors. Great!
Une composition et un jeu de couleurs réalisés avec beaucoup de délicatesse. Superbe !
Absolutely gorgeous. There is a completeness to this photo that makes it so lovely. The foreground colors are deep, the lighter background colors are a perfect backdrop. The composition simply could not be better and the DOF is spot on. Just the addition of the water droplet on the petal adds an element that would have been missing from the photo; it would have been lovely without it, but with that single drop, the photo found it’s magic.
Gorgeous tones in this lovely image!
