I have two visions of this image. The first is the idyllic and the second purely surreal. I like this both interpretations.
And besides, it’s a great place to enjoy the magnificent alpine views and relaxation.

Wonderful tease to “whet our appetites” for more. Very appealing composition. The view from this bench looks to be fantastic but I’m also taken with the bench itself — what a strong presents it has. It’s certainly build to last even through harsh Alpine winters.

A beautifull view
There’s something so intriguing to me about the back of peoples heads in certain contexts. It works so well here as they stare off into a spatial vastness that is truly mind blowing. I also adore the subdued colors… adds a certain level of charm.
A clever angle you have chosen here. We can look at the mountain panorama through the eyes of the hikers and also watch them.
i love the post processing on this and great light! something like this would normally be overblown due to the harsh light, this is excellent!

Taking shots from behind people is something that I love to do beacause it allows the viewer to ponder the expressions on those faces, the thoughts passing through minds, moods and such like.
This frame works wonderfully and definitely offers that feeling, though I think I have a pretty good idea exactly what they are thinking, and I bet those lips are smiling. A beautifully observed frame with very delicate tones that really teases us as we get a glimpse of Mother Nature’s incredible beauty, but just that glimpse. This is a superb frame, very well captured and I look forward to THAT view.
Wonderful composition and DOF. Everybody turns the back to the camera and enjoy the great landscape and that gives a peaceful sensation.

Great shot Martina – I really like photos shot from the back of people sitting. It captures a different mood. And this looks so crisp and clean the way I imagine the Alps to be!
