Beautiful, poetic image.
I love how the light illuminates the edge of the hair! Great image.
this image tells a story or two, sweetly framed piece of work π charming verse too (β Abraham Lincoln).
The position of the arms is what initially caught my attention. A little explanation…I sometimes stroll with one arm crossed behind my back grasping the other arm about the elbow. As a boy I was walking with my Father and he said, “Your great grandfather use to walk with his arms exactly the same way.” That’s always stuck with me so these arms pulled me in immediately.
To me this photo seems to be more about a mental destination then a physical one. A clearing of the mind, a recharging of the emotional and mental energies. As such I think it’s an image easily identified with and allows the viewer, or at least me, to easily “fill in their own story.”
It’s very simple and I like it for being so. Thoughtful.
Yes an image with a story. I agree with Earl, those who walk with their arms behind them are usually those that take time to think things out. Maybe could have used more negative space in front of the walker rather than behind. Lovely all the same.
pleasant and quiet photo with a strong poetic feeling inside, wonderful the choise black and white to presented, an exelent work, compliments
lovely
Funny that I was trying to take a photo just like that yesterday of my friend. But didn’t get a shot that I liked.
Good photo, looks in deep thought.
ich mag die konzentration und entspanntheit im gang. die sonne spielt mit seinem haar und kleidung. es wirkt alles vertraut.
