“Where Claribel low-lieth
The breezes pause and die,
Letting the rose-leaves fall;
But the solemn oak-tree sigheth,
Thick-leaved, ambrosial,
With an ancient melody
Of an inward agony,
Where Claribel low-leith”
Lord Alfred Tennyson
A great place to sit and relax after a long walk. And by the way, can admire the wonderful view of the lake and the hills in the distance.
Beautiful shot. Now I have the song stuck in my head…
An admirable photograph, all good composition!
A perfect place to relax! Very nice picture with all the eye needs!
Really like the tones in these lake shots. Is this Scotland?
Hi Mark, sorry for taking so long to reply. Yes this is Loch Lomond in the Trossachs National Park. It’s a beautiful landscape, great for photography.
we see the trees in the water and out of water. it s making the picture surreal.

A nice place to let the thoughts flow away… It is a calm, quiet picture.
This is fantastic.
Such wonderful contrast on this BW image.
