On the Chapman Grandstick.
Written By: Martina Egli
During my semi-regular commute yesterday things were hectic as always. However there was a singular high point- the virtuoso sonic awesomeness of Bucky. It made me stop, throw some money in his hat and take it all in. One word. Wow!
When I got home I checked out his website http://www.muttel.com You should check it out too. Not only is he an incredible musician, he’s a great human being too – he gives a portion of his earnings to the Children’s Charity Operation Rainbow!
Hi Martina,
Someone just showed me this.
Thank you for posting it.
Monday was the first time I tried out a wha pedal with this instrument, so you saw it first!
This Chapman Stick is the SG12 (Stick Guitar) model, a slightly scaled down version of the Grand Stick. I am glad that you enjoyed it.
Kind regards
Bucky
Thanks for taking the time to comment – the internet really is a small place 😉
I hope you like the picture. You really did brighten my day. Thanks, Martina.
Wow I love this! I can appreciate street artist and the courage it takes to get out there and perform your craft. As photographers we have the luxury of fixing our mistakes with post processing before the world can see our work. But with street artist, your mistakes are there for the world to see and you can’t take it back!
It definitely takes courage to perform in the streets, it’s raw, unedited and you get direct feedback from your audience :). Great work on this Martina, you’re very talented.
I saw this men yesterday in the london subway ! Very nice !!! Big smile and good music ! Kiss from France Bucky XXX
